I talked to someone at Powertrax yesterday about a Lock Right for my rig but they said it won't handle my 36" Iroks. Today I noticed on 4wheelparts.com that they make Lock Rights for Dana 60, 70, 80... Who the hell is going to be running 32" tires and less (as the powertrax guy said) on those axles???

maybe he was more reffering to your axle or ring and pinion rather than the locker itself

Dont know if its much help but I'm using a Lockrite (D44) with 35" MT/Rs and it does just fine.

lockrites can fail in weaker axles (Dana 35) when you run big tires because the axle actually flexes from the strain of the big tires which causes the lockrite to fail.

What he said.
Buy an Aussie Locker, they have no tire size limitations.

looking at your sig. is seems you have a nice rig. Dont bother with a lockwrong.
i assume this is for your front? D30? if so, and you feel like polishing a turd, get a super 30 with a selectable locker or a detroit trutrac.
but a locker in a 30 with 36's..... good luck

Uh, the D30 ain`t that bad.
I`ve seen my cosuin come down hard on his at like 4-5k rpm on his 35s and not a peep from it (Alloy USA shafts and u joints, ARB locker). For the wheeling most people do it`s not that bad.

I currently have a Powertrax in the rear, lock-rite in the front, running 37" bogggers on an '05 Unlimited. I beat on mine like a red headed stepchild!!!!!!! If you do break the locker before you break a shaft or U-Joint then that's just bad luck. I admit I am currently putting in a 60 front/sterling 10.5 rear, but not 'cause of a weak locker, just weak and small U-Joints, plus I'm going to either 41's or 42's.
