wow-
www.tsmmfg.com or something like that--
or make ur own like everyone else.

caliper brackets from www.loufegersracing.com or
www.aa-mfg.com

calipers... have pressed on back w/ front 4x4 studs. modify backing plate to fit thru rotor hole and you're done

calipers are up to you- but if you want to do it right get the plain 0le front ones and use a line lock if you HAVE TO HAVE A P-BRAKE

oops i mean rotors pressed on axle flange not caliper

what a dick!!!

as far as brackets I used the front brackets and trimmed them with a torch to fit around the back of the flange then lined it all up and welded them, then drilled the flange holes through again, worked great and lined up perfect on the rotor,

pizza boy can go F**CK himself....

IF people would do some research and ask questions more on the lines of what does it take instead of "CAN IT BE DONE" then maybe you wouldnt get smart ass answers DUMB ass!

So if you read the posts theres several ways to do this but the weld on brackets are only 20 bucks or so..

Why reinvent the wheel when there that cheap.

Why reinvent the wheel when there that cheap. I will use the weld in ones but did not no they existed till now , did I mention I drive a 4runner not a waggy I am doing the d-44 swap with the waggy springs and when I did the swap on my toy I had to make the brackets so I asumed that I would have to do the same with the d-44's . also wen I use the serch I never find what I am looking for , so sorry if im a pain in your ass but you didn't have to post on this site if it bothers you so much to see repeat ofenders , but I will try to figure out the serch just for you . P.S. It's wheelen not rocket sience.:skull:

Took what, like 20 min to find all that shit when it was easier to just tell him and maybe get some new ideas from it?

Heres what I did.

I got front caliper brackets from 79 wagoneer and cut them to fit on my tube right behind the axle retainer bolts. You can use wago calipers also, or get caddy calpiers with a e-brake.
Some people say they dont work that great but mine lock up the rear tires.

I got some rotors from a scout ( or 77-79 cj5 or cj7) 1 1/8th thick.
and turned the hub opening bigger so it would clear the backof the axle flange.

I pulled off the bearings and seals and shit on the dana 44 axle shafts and slipped the rotor on from behind. I used the same scout wheel lugs to mount it to the back side of the axle flange.

I cut the area out of the old brake drum that bolted to the axle tube and re installed it as a shim and bolted the axle in.

I then dry fitted the brake calipers with pads, the outer pad needs to be touching the rotor from the start. I tacked the brackets on and pulled the axles again and re welded them.

I ran hard lines to the calipers and a center union.
I then did a Piazza speacial and mounted a 1968 corvette master cyl in place of my old one. I junked the Porpotioning valve and union the front and used a wilwood adjustable valve on the back.

Pretty easy, but getting answers to how it is done sucks.

Email me or repost, I will help ya.

Later

4 Hours start to finish.
