the location to get a good pinion angle.

i would like to get them in the right spot befor i put them in my jeep. i dont have time to put it all together and take it all apart and re weld it.

any sugestions would be appreciated

if its SOA, whats in your way of doing it when its on the jeep?
how are you going to get 0-3 deg. of pinion angle without mocking it up?

if anyone knows i would like to learn as well.

Every jeep varies. The only way to get a proper pinion angle is to put the axle under the jeep and put weight on it. Then adjust. I welded them when the axle was still under the jeep.

I marked the axle to get the perches approxamatley where they would be. Then put the axle under the weight of the jeep with the perches on the marks. Then was able to adjust the pinion angle. Tacked it. Pulled it all out then welded it all. Mine is SUA. So it was kinda a pain.
Here's some pics, wont really help much but its always more fun with pics.
