I am in the process of rebuilding a dana 300 transfer case. It was mated to a th400 amc bolt pattern transmission with a “mystery” adaptor. I have looked at the adaptor casting and there is no numbers to identify the part.
Now my question, did jeep come with an adaptor that would mate a th400 to a dana 300 from the factory. I need the seals for this part to complete the rebuild and am having a hard time finding them. Any help would be appreciated.

Where did you get all of it from. I don't know if there was a factory adapter, but I have heard of people using chevy 208 adapters and that is what I will eventually do on my 304 powered wrangler--------------Kyle

The drivetrain is in a 83 CJ8 with an amc 360,th400, and dana 300 thats all I can tell yah. Found the part # for the seals so I am good there however, it would still be nice to know where this adaptor is from. I looked it over a second time and still no marking telling where the adaptor came from. I will post a pic when I get some time.
