I was wondering how much of a differance the Bronco 2 body is from the EB frame??? Im looking at doing the swap
Is this a close swap?? easy? Not worth it?
Thanks for any info...

Why is the question that comes to mind...
Ditch the B2, stick an EB body on the EB frame.
The B2 and the EB are dimensionally similar. I'd say that it might not be that bad. I've seen a few Ranger cabs on EB frames. It'll take some doing, but it can't be all that bad.

i am doing that exact swap right now. The EB frame is very close to the b2 frame. But different enough that new mounts will need to be made for everything. i am stripping it down to bare frame rails and building all new crossmembers/bodymounts. Stay tuned in the next few months for a build up thread.

Because you can buy a mint BII body for less than new EB fender maybe?? Then trash the crap out of it and buy another body. Repeat 12 times, still cheaper than one EB body restore.............

BUT.... the B2 never will be as cool as the EB looks!

Agreed, but if you wheel hard enough, it won't look like anything recognizable anyway, so might as well go cheap.

Because I have an extra 75 EB & an extra 84 B2...I dont care that they look differant...
I may just do the ranger cab thing also...Havent decided yet

The big differences, as i have the EB frame in my garage right now, and a B2 parked on top of it, is that the EB frame is parallel all the way back and appx. 4"x3" boxed all the way. the B2 frame is almost exactly the same width as the EB in the very front, but starts flaring right behind the coil buckets, and stops flaring out at about the rear spring hangers. it is only boxed a short portion around the steering box and engine mounts. The overall length of the two are within 2".
