So I rebuilt the rear springs on my yj and the set i put together is somewhat to soft. So I would like to add another leaf or two but I already put in an add a leaf. I kept the factory spring clamps. To add another mid length leaf i was thinking of just bending the tabs up, so they are straight, and then maybe put a bolt in them. This way i can add a leaf and it will let the springs flex more. Anyone done this or know something about it??

just bend them up or cut them off completely and be done with it.
