Places that can bend 1/4 inch Plate?

Does anyone know of a place that can bend 1/4 inch plate at 90 degree's? I've already tried Pleasanton Steel but they moved to Livermore and don't have their equipment over there to bend 1/4 plate yet. I also tried calling around other steel places and either they can't bend 1/4 or it's to small of a job for them. BTW the plate is for winch bumper it's 18 by about 10 inches.

try heating it up with a torch and then try to bend it. i would sugest clamping part of it on a work bench and then spot weld a long piece of pipe on the end you want to bend, then heat it up nice and cherry red where you want the bend then push down on the pipe you welded to it until it make a 90 degree angle using the edge of the work bench to get the angle right, if this make sese then give it a try

I don't that will work for my application. I made some peices for a press to bend 90's that work when making smaller brackets but the winch plate is to long to bend. I guess I'll have to check around some more tomorrow to find a fab or steel place that can bend it.

Why not make a cut, bend it, then do a couple of stich welds? Or brace it if needed.

S & K steel in Sac can do it.

Alco on mare island can do it. Try Moose Metals in Concord, dont know what equipment they have but they might be able to do it. All else fails, grind a groove where you want it bent and use the torch method, then weld it back into place. All else fails PM me and Ill see what I can do.

The stuff he sells is thick & bent...
I'm not sure if he does it or has it done somewhere.

I got a place to do bend it yesterday at A.V.D. Metal Fab. in Hayward. Thanks for the suggestions
