I was wondering what i can do to straighten my steering wheel and eliminate the play that it has.

To straighten your steering wheel, you'll need a 15mm wrench, big channellocks & lube. There is an adjustment on your draglink with 2 15mm bolts. If your wheel is at 10 o'clock, give the adjustment sleeve 3 or 4 full turns. Dont put those tools away, it'll take 2 or three test drives to get it straight.

Check all of your tie rod ends and your track bar where it connects to the axle and bracket on the uni-body to make sure the joints are all tight. Your play could be coming from that or it could be your steering box.

Yeah have a friend sit in the jeep with the enjine running,in park. Have 'em rack the wheel back and forth until you find everything that's moving, that shouldn't be:D.#1 Check both ends of the trackbar, #2 Draglink ends, #3 tre's,#4 steerbox,steercolumn-shaft, joints:eek:

X2!! I had the same problem, then I just build my own OTK steering out of DOM and problem eliminated. But check all the mention things above:smokin:

oh jesus u should see my drag link lol i can wiggle it and when turning it moves like 1/2 inch at the adjuster lol. ill tighten it up in the morning.
