I've got a Front 79 Dana 60 HP and a Rear 79 Dana 60 and I was wondering how I can tell if they are Full Floaters or Semi Floaters. I've heard that most are Semi but I need to know for sure.

Fronts are always "full floating". The rears are full floating if they have a axle that slides through an independent mounted hub. Easiest way to tell is look to see if the hub sticks through from the wheel mounting surface by about 3 inches or so. The SFs don't stick through the wheel by much, maybe a 1/2 or so.

Well, this is taken from the Jeep board but it fully applies in this case.
