I am preparing to drop in a 4.3L into my '47 CJ2A and I am wondering about the radiator. What have some of you done for your flatties? Did you use an electric fan or mechanical? If mechanical, did you use the fan clutch?

As it looks now I think I am going to have to hack the inside of the grill to get even a summit universal to fit. I read an earlier post about using a GPW grill on the CJ2A...Any further comments on this would also be appreciated.

I'm building up a 3A right now, and what I'm going to do is buy a griffin chevy radiator (19x22), since it's only 2 inches off in the width portion, and should fit nicely. I plan to just fab my own brackets for this. Also going electric fan, so I don't have to worry about killing the radiator when a skidplate hits a rock.
