dude there is all kinds of rock crawling poseurs around santa rosa now... I ain't lived there is about 6 years... but I'm in town every now and then... and see so many POS toyota trucks with some hacked ass suspension, missing the bed and some ugly as fuck half assed tube work. Should be plenty of people to wheel with :flipoff2:

yea but their total dicks. They think that their truck is the shit. Like sure your truck is better then mine but I just wanna have some fun and get some experience. People at my school are into suspension lifts and v8s, and v10s
I'm more of 2 inchbody lift rollin on 33s just having some fun.
There is a lot of places in Santa Rosa, but its all private property, and the that own it are dicks. My friend just got a $13000 felony for mudding. Its getting crazy.

 Holy shit, is that really supposed to say $13,000, or $1300? Private or public property? Thats insane.

$13k on private, but he had no idea it was private because no signs were posted, it wasn't gated, and it was completely vacant.

I talked to a sheriff deputy a long while back about wheeling. He said that there is a county wide ordinance prohibiting offroading. I asked about trails that are obviously established with no gates or signs, and he said that i'd be fine. However, if the owner asked me to leave I had to comply, but I wasn't breaking the law (if it's wasn't posted and gated, and there was a "road")
Don't know if that has changed recently or not? Apparently it has for your friend. :(

If it's not your property and there's not a sign saying it's some kind of ohv area... it's pretty safe to say you're in the wrong and expect to get busted if you are wheeling on said property.
How would you react if someone was out spinning donuts and getting stuck on YOUR property without permission? At one point in my life I thought it was ok to do this... I guess I've grown up quite a bit since my days of goat roper wheelin and yankin people out of the mud in just about every empty field in the surrounding SR area we could find.
Now a days I would be fawkin pissed if I caught someone wheeling on my property and you could expect to be greated by the wrong end of my rifle for such an act. Wheeling on property that doesn't belong to you or you don't have permission to be on makes every single wheeler look bad, period.
live and learn I guess

I know how to get in from some "other" ways... but I'd never go in there again... too much to lose these days. But yeah, It was 98 or 99 and I know who found the body ;) I used to almost live there... I loved that place :(

I'm in Santa Rosa, I've got a white YJ with a 4" Rough Country lift, RE 5" greasable shackles, 33X12.50 BFG Mud Terrains. I'm low on funds right now but I'm going to find a Dana 44 for the rear and run 4:56's in it as well as the front 30. Next mods on my list are sway bar discos and TJ flares. Some of you have probably seen my rig, if you've been to Four Wheel Perfection you maybe have seen me there detailing Robs pickup among other rigs.

Speaking of sway bar disco's, anyone on here run the JKS Quicker disconnects? I've seen lots of positive reviews about them and I think they'll be what I go for

yeah it was top of the world
motorcycle mtn was in monte rio off duncan road
no longer lawfull access to either
one could still manage to get in off greenvalley rd not tell where
but like ranger said the place that you could get threw a 12gauge and a 44mag await ya
besides past the waterfall and to the north i guess lies bohemin grove
last time i was up there was a kegger and we were interupter by suits and mac 10's or something similar
along came the sheriff and a 3 hr interigation
few weeks later the body showed up
last inquiry that place top of the world was sold to a deveolper intended to make ranchettes out of it
i think that was aload of bs
just wanted to keep out gun toteing rednecks like myself a mile away from the grove property

top of the world sits as it did 15 years ago. the locals have made many side shoots around the gate and even the gate is toast sometimes. I took a cr up there to check it out . I think someone either assoc or part of the bohemian grove bought it from a japanese owner back in the day and just let it sit. There are ways in that are safe, not watched or next to any homes.
Better area with more room is out on the Garcia river.

My friend still owes the washing of a truck to a buddy, lol those were the days. IIRC it was the end of 98 early 99 that to was closed.

Trust me... I know quite a few ways to get in there... I even got in there after all the heat with the dead body. But it just ain't worth it to technically 'trespass' anymore... my rig is worth WAY fawkin more than it did back then  I've definitely seen some weird shit up at TOTW... mostly on a dirt bike... venturing anywhere near bohemian grove was always a BAD idea
I also don't think I ever drove into that place without a loaded gun... that place was something else!
