yes i already tryed the search and the ford forum. no one has answered. i want to put a 2.3l ford to a sm 420 to a ??? t-case. it has to be really short. i heard of the 2.3l with t-90's attached but no 420. anyone have ideas. i need a very short trans and t-case combo. thanx in advance.

I did the 2.3L to T-98. Details are here. (http://www.jeeptech.com/oliver/Modifications/Transmission6.htm) I imagine you could do the same thing with an SM420.
