I have an 85 4Runner (daily driver) and I plan on buying 38.5" SXs for my next set of tires but how is the wear? About the same as regular TSLs or as bad as Boggers? I don't mind Swamper TSLs for daily driving but Boggers, the wear and the overnight flatspots is a litle extreme for that much money spent on a tire. Are the Sxs bad for flat spots or no worse than a regular TSL?

Flat spots are definitely there, but they go away after only a few miles of driving  ;) I couldnt tell you on wear, I dont DD mine.

the only time i notice the flat spots on mine is when i set it up for a couple of days with 8 or 10 lbs of air. they flat spot pretty bad. if i leave them at 30 or so they are not that bad and warm up quick.

Sounds like the TSLs for flatspots. I can live with that.:)

TSL'S get flat spots and as far as I know almost all bias plies do.
I drive mine 40 miles a day and I got mine last July; I got a little over half the tread left. I am expecting to replace them in spring of 2003.

Swampers are my favorite tire but If I were daily driving anything It would be on 37 MTR's not on SX's youll spend an arm and a leg every time you wear a set out on the road, MTR's look like they would last a while on the road compared to a set of SX's:skull:

Yes I know all bias ply tires get flat spots, but my boggers are by far much worse than any swamper tsl I've ever had. They flat spot after 1/2 hour of being parked, my swampers never did that. Yes I know that a BFG will last longer but I run 12" wide rims so I need a wider tire.
