I pulled a break line loose last weekend on my 84 cj7 and the little dash warning light came on to tell me I had no fluid left in the front reservoir. After fixing the line and bleeding the breaks the light is still on. Is there some kind of reset? I've tried everything short of clipping the wire to turn it off.

Try unhooking the battery and then reconnecting it.

First of all ... please spell it "brakes". Give us all a 'break'!

Secondly, resetting is for new type computers ... not early '80's CJ's.
The ole 'turn it off ... then on again trick does not work on this old stuff.

Third ... you will have to re-position (reset) the sliding piston in your brake system porportioning valve which will 'break' the ground in your emergency brake/brake emergency circuit (two different things) that is glaring at you from the lamp in yer speedo. :rasta:
