My TJ has RE (soon) 5.5" Long Arms, 1.25" JKS body lift, running 35"MTR 15x8, 4" bs.
future: 36"/12.5 TSL SX for trail only.
any recommended shock, how many inches is good, extended and collpased for my best set up??
Hows about this, 26.5" extended and 15.5" collasped? too short ?
Thanks!

9010 or 9012
I run the 9012 but I also have 2" coil spacers along with the 5.5 RE springs.

I got Deutsch shocks with my RE kit - although I won't mention that I trashed them both in one short year and am now running Pro Comp's. :D :D :D
Oh, and I agree...the guys at RE are pretty knowledgeable and helpful. They helped me all 500 times I've called! *tongue in cheek*
ranch 9012 the best set-up re say not to run that kit with bigger then 35 on a 8 inch rim:flipoff2: dont listen to them im rrunning 38.5 with a 10 inch rim...

The OME shocks that RE supplied with the 5.5"LA kit are short and were limiting flex on my buddys TJ. His set up is exactly like yours, Yeow. Kits are a starting point only IMO, then you got to tweak the details to really get the most out of a kit,
We will remove all shocks and cycle suspension. Watch for when the coils pop out and check for DS binding etc and measure for new shocks.

9012s are way too long. Especially on the front with the adapter, which adds about 1" to the shock length basically. I had some 9012s and had to sell em and get some 9112s. The 9112 is 26.65 extended and 15.94 collapsed.

DT3368s at all 4 corners, 29.5" extended, 17" colapsed. Seem to work well for me, the pic is with the 5.5" coils, 2" BL and 35" claws.
