Hello,

A question for you guys.... I have an 07 F150 FX4 Supercrew. Just had a Fabtech 6" lift and Fabtechs coilover shocks installed. I also had 18X10 chrome Eagle Alloy series 64 wheels and Mickey Thompson 325 65R18 Baja ATZ's installed. I'm happy with everything, except the tires are extending out from the truck very far...the front's, about 5". I have seen other lifted, 04 and later, F150's with 35's installed and they don't stick out anything like my vehicle. The guy at the lift shop, said that there is nothing that can be done...no other wheel type would correct this. What do you guys think?

You would need a different back spaced wheel.

just get some fiberglass fenders for the front.

You would need a different back spaced wheel.

Is that a dimension that, when looking up different wheels, is shown on charts? Are there clearance issues if you change to wheel with less? backspacing?

Deal with it. You're running 10" wide rims on a truck that stock has 7's, so you're already gonna be 3" wider per side assuming the same backspacing on the wheels. You probably can't run anymore backspacing for 2 possible reasons, 1: the lift kit won't clear any more backspacing on the components, and 2: the tires will rub on the frame in the front from the wheels having too much backspacing and will reduce your turning radius and in the rear can't have anymore backspacing or it will hit the rear shocks and leafs.

Will tell you how to measure it, you may or may not be able to run more.
You need to find a wheel shop that will let you try a few on.

It may be possible that the person who did the work is dumber than you.

Tech; so its not just flames.
In all actuallity unless you find someone who has already done the trial and error you will need to try a different offset. I would recommend 1" deeper backspacing and cycling the suspension through its normal operating range. If you are using it on nothing harder than forestry roads a simple static left and right turn will suffice.
