Fawk 'em. Dissasemble the thing and bring it over as parts.

Would be tres chic though to have one in college. Might allow you to save some serious $$$ on renting an apartment!

JoshC 05-20-2002, 06:30 PM Top 50 schools? WTF kinda requirement is that? Aren't there only a few Ivy League schools?
Hey, does the PlayBoy top 50 count? :D

you have uncovered my master-plan :D
I agree that it is a strange requirement. What is your planned major. You could come to Fort Lewis. Sweet wheelin! It is the number one rated *college * (not university) for business. It was also the first accredited college (AACSB) in the world. In my book that makes it in top 50. :D Requirements for general admission are easy, so the truck would definately be yours.
madcowdungbeetle 05-20-2002, 08:42 PM If you wanna go into engineering there is GaTech, where there is always an overabundance of weiner. :barf: :(
evilfij 05-20-2002, 08:56 PM I ended up at a small school in VA. Believe it or not top 50 when I went (probably still check Princeton Review Top 50 Colleges and Universities). Very small, very snobby, very old south/old money. Also unless you live south of Mason Dixon no one has heard of it. A complete nightmare to get through the school but I went into GW Forest nearly every week in the Scout. Goshen has some killer rocks, 35s+ needed to get through. Very much a place that you need to know/be the locals to wheel though.
Ron
PS good luck getting in with less than a 1450/3.9 unless you are a legacy or have a last name that coresponds to a fortune 500 company
RockRover 05-21-2002, 07:28 AM Cal. State Univ. CHICO! Yea baby! Ratio of innie's to outies was 3:1...Rated by Playboy the #1 party school...O'hhh...I dunno' about 7 years in a row. GREAT town, easy pace, great wheelin', fishing, hiking...Lake Taho and the Rubicon right around the corner...Low population ect...
Hell I'd still be there if I knew I could find a "career" there after I graduated. At the time I had some delusion that you needed to be on the 20th floor of some high-rise with a tie on to actually have a "career". I know different now, and Santa Fe is as close to Chico as you can get without a Univ. being in town.
Mr. Hill's does still live in a Univ. town..But he's an "E" type...Not too many 'innies' to distract him from his projects! :flipoff2: Man if I were 18 again, I'd bypass engineering just for that reason alone! Heck my first year I decided I needed to go into child development...18 chicks to two guy's in the first class I took...Man I WAS in heaven...And I got to figure out why I was still such a child!
Course I didn't have a stalker ambulance to drive around though...I'm SURE I would have been bagin' twice the number of babes in that thing! :flipoff2:

offroadr35 05-21-2002, 08:10 AM Ron, what school? Sounds kinda like W&L

road1will 05-21-2002, 02:09 PM cal state chico i have been thinking a LOT about...
and i have considered ft lewis too.
i plan om majoring in some form of mech. engineering, and if it were ft lewis i would take their two year engineering program then transfer to either CSU boulder or NMSU las cruces. hell, there rich might even be my professor! :D
mmmmmmm, but chico...... :D
redrangie 05-21-2002, 02:44 PM u mean cu boulder? or did u mean csu ft. collins?

CU Boulder.... brain not working right today.
RockRover 05-21-2002, 03:13 PM Hey Walfelface...Watch out for Professor Hill's...I've heard HORROR stories from some of his ex-student's I work with here at Los Alamos! (seriously!) Funny thing is that they DO know what they are talking about when it comes to engineering...Funny how the dirty bastard tough-assed professors turn out to be the best...Now if those professors could only learn how to drive!
evilfij 05-21-2002, 03:49 PM Steve you are correct.
Adam good luck.
Ron
rhills 05-21-2002, 07:33 PM Doug,
Have my ex-students been telling you fibs about those tiny little take home tests or projects I give? :D
