ok call me a newbie if you will:flipoff2: i bought a sami and some yj spring and stashed it in the garage for a project when i get some time. if that is a kit to make the yj springs fit...then what the hell is worth the price that vendors are asking for in that kit? looks like it would be very easy to make yourself... anyone care to explain
cheers,
jj

The parts of the kit aren't difficult to build. It's the measurements that you are really paying for. Sure you can whip something up yourself, but if you have your measurements off, then you're going to be doing it over again.
I have the CSC kit and yes, I could have figured it out on my own and done everything myself. But guess what, the time saved by using the kit was worth more than the money I would have saved.

Who makes that kit? Does it outboard the springs to fit the toy axles? Its looks like it the spring stance would be wider than my CSC kit.

The front setup looks really similar to the CSC setup. I can't tell if those are bolt-on or weld-on from the pic though. I know the kit that Dave is selling now is partial weld-on where the CSC kit was completely bolt-on.

It's Dave kit.
there is welding required.
As for the spacing for toy axles, don't know yet.. Probably next weekend before I know the answer on that, this weekend I'm buying a compressor and setting it up.
ps.
if your in the SFBay area, and want to see/help/loiter let me know, and I'll get instructions to ya..

The kit is from here:
http://www.asianautopartsofaz.com/suzuki/suspension.html
the front parts look like this:

and this is the rear:
http://www.explorerforum.com/tdavis/zuk/rear-parts.jpg
also note, I'm using All-pro's u-bolt flip kit in the front, and u-bolt elminator kit in the rear, and OTT's high steer.
I still need to find a toy IFS 4x4 ps box, and then a few more parts..
