Do you need to run johnny joints on each end of the links in a coil setup or just where the links attach to the axle. and then use poly urethane up on the frame.......need input please help

I have a 47 with homegrown coils. I have Johnny's at each end of the link (4 link rear). I was told that the Johnny's are good for 15 degrees +/- either way. I figured it would flex better with one at each end. Most people call it overkill. IMO you should be able to get away with one per link with a spring bushing at the other.

If you want your axle to have more than 15 degrees of articulation your better use two.
Johnny Joint are great by the way.

Are they using that combo for minor adjustability at the heim end? Or is it something else.

For an extra $10 Currie will put a 1" x 6" 18/grade 8 bolt on the casing for you...Not a bad deal really...Now, with a heim you could have mucho' adjustability...And more than enough with a bush/JJ combo.
