Alright, today i was headed to some girls house, to hang out i have a 1990 f-150 with a t-18 4 speed, and 42" swampers, anyways i was driving down the road, when i came to a stop and i couldnt shift it into gear, and i was like WTF :mad2:. so i pulled over and the goddamn tranny slid back like 5 inches from the g-damn bellhousing. i guess it focked up alot of shit, anyways so i had a flatbed come and they towed it to Allied the place, i had install my tranny mount, and i guess they didnt tighten the bolts or whatever, and i told the manager that ya know i had the tranny mount done here, and hes like yeah, and i told him the bolts must of come loose, and hes like it woudlnt matter cause the tranny mount only keeps it from going up and down, and he was trying to tell me it was because my bellhousing bolts were loose prolly, and im like wtf even if the b-housing bolts were lose the tranny mount would of held it in place, and the tranny mount didnt break or anything, the bolts just came out, and i guess it cause the bolts to slowly work theyre way out, and i only had the mount installed like 45 days ago so do you think theyre liable for this, sorry if it doesnt make much since, since its like 2 and im focking tired and mad, thanks for your time

I've driven with a bad tranny mount for years before with no problem but I've never had a bellhousing seperate from the block.
About the only thing you could fault Allied for was not noticing all the loose bolts.

But the tranny mount wasnt bad, just the bolts came out the top of it, thats what i dont understand, i think it coudl of vibrated the bellhousing bolts out, because my truck does vibrate alot from the swampers, but even if the bellhousing bolts werent tight, wouldnt the tranny mount keep it from sliding back,
thanks bud

You kinda got a chicken and egg situation there.
Did the mount bolts come loose causing the bellhousing bolts to loosen and the tranny to slide back
OR
Did the bellhousing bolts come lose causing the tranny mount to loosen and then the tranny slid back.
OR
Did the swampers cause everything to come loose at once.
Is your licence plate still tight?:flipoff2:
Seriously though if you're swampers are causing that bad of a vibration to loosen shit up I'd be going around and checking things on a regular basis.

Well did they install the tranny to the bellhousing? If they did then it's their fault. If you installed or even had the bell housing finger tight to the tranny....well sounds like your fault. They would have thought it properly tight unless it was noticably loose.
LOC Tite....repeat it 10 times.
Use brake cleaner to clean out the threads before you Loc Tite. if their is oil on the threads the lock tite will not bond.
Cam is correct. On a off road truck you should make a point to spend time under the truck at every oil change and check to make sure stuff is tight. If you wheel hard then inspect the frame and all the crossmember intersections. Rivits and welds can fail.

I've also driven with broken tranny mounts before w/o a problem. My guess is that the bellhousing bolts weren't torqued right and worked loose. Unless they installed the tranny it sounds like your fault, sorry.

It seems to me that they would've had to have been VERY remiss to miss five or 6 un-tightened bellhousing bolts AND missing/un-tightened tranny mount bolts. That's just plain ridiculous. get your money back from them and then do it right. If you wanted it done right the first time you should've done it yourself in the first place...
