I suppose since I haven't posted in a long while i'll give a quick update for anyone who cares. My 40 is reassebled and runs, although rarely, and still lacks certain features such as seats, belts, doors, ect... But the drivetrain is in and functional. Since i'm going to school in WA and it is in NM I havent worked on it in a LONG time.

Now to the point. I am taking a polymers technology course and I need to find a plastics manufacturing company on the west coast to profile. I am hoping to find someone manufacturing body panels for desert racing, but i havent found much. I thing rugburn was doing plastics hoods wasn't he? any info on any company would be appreciated...

Try the desert forum on this board or Trent Fab in Tahoe city. Trent's been doing allot of plastic hoods and skins on tube rigs lately.

As long as it's a plastics manufacturing compnay, it doesn't matter what kind of process or mat'l is being used.

Appreciate the info guys
