Hello,

I'm going to swap some Land Cruiser Axles under my Zuk. but the Problem is, does the Land Crusier J7 Axles have the same Steering Arm as the Mini Truck?

I haven't the axles here to look, but I want some info so that I could order the steering.

Regards,

zuki

Call Chris over at Trail Gear and tell him what you've got. The standard Toy/Zuk kit may fit it fine. If not, I'm sure thay can adapt the draglink length as needed.

Well I'm from Luxemburg..

I just need to know if the Steering Arms on the Knuckel of the Mini Truck an Land Cruiser Axles are the same.
Does anybody here has already swapped this axles under a Suzuki, because I need some pictures.

Hi Zuki,

the arms are different: The J7 has a high-pinion and the the tie rod is behind and below the axle. The mini truck has the tie rod in front and above the axle. The drag link is a puch / pull system so the left arm looks like a "J".

However, as long as the knuckles are the same you will be able to fit aftermarket arms from teh Minitruck / Hilux. Wait until you have the axles. Then take some measurements for the bolt pattern and the bearing race and then ask e.g at Sky-Mfg (they have the shorter arm to make up for the Samurai's shorter pitman arm) or post up here.

Best regards,

Norbert

Thank you Norbert,

I think I will wait that I got them to be 100% sure.

knuckles are diff.you can swap truck knuckels onto cruiser axles though, much stronger set up.The cruizer rear axle is a beefy unit, the only prob with those is you cant buy a full spool for them f.y.i.
