84scrambler 05-15-2002, 11:03 AM Wondering if anybody knows the strong points of each. I know the 4l60E has the lock up tourque converter and its shifting is controlled electronically. I was thinking of going to the 700R4 but will need a new harness and ECM. Is the 4l60E worth keeping? I know B&M makes a small modual to adjust the shifting, and I can always get a valve body kit for it. whats your input? The early ones got a bad rep. but they were much improved in later years. The 4l60 is saposed to have a stronger overdrive. I would talk to a chevy dealer trannyguy. Thay would be your best bet to get the correct scoop. | |
