Anyone have a set of rear FJ55 springs they want to sell? I am hoping to do the spring over here shortly, this is one of the last obstacles left... Cause I really want the longer wheelbase!!! and cush ride the springs offer.

thanks!

Doing well, thanks. I think the half cast will actually come off tomorrow!! I drove today for the first time, but the first, and only time, I had to quickly tap the brakes.....yoooowwwww!!

If I come across something, I'll let you know as well. Worst case, I can go down to Salida and visit Classic Cruisers. I think I'll time it with a hatch coming off on the Arkansas!! :smokin:

If yer planning on using these in the rear, you can set up everything with stock reversed FJ40 spring packs until you locate the FJ55 packs...then just reverse the shackle hanger and install them. It took me a year to find my second set of FJ55 rear packs for my SOA project, and the spring swapout took all of a couple hours.

Woody,

Funny that YOU respond!! That is exactly what I am going to do after reading and rereading everything on FJ-40 SOA work on your site last night. Its probably about the 5th or 6th time I've done that in the past 2 months. Funny how at sometime a better understanding pops into your mind. I'd actually like to give you a call at some point in the very near future if you don't mind!!

I've gotten myself to the point in my project where I HAVE to teach myself to weld! I have a tub sitting on a frame with just a rear axle and nothing up front. I even picked up my 75/25 yesterday, finally!!:smokin:

Let me know if you wouldn't mind giving me a few minutes on the land line, maybe this weekend or early next week - depends on when my 2 SM420s show up and how much more welding procrastination I can come up with!!:emb3:

Thanks

a couple typo edits!!

Roger that!! Will call on Monday!! I plan on making the trip to the Front Range next week anyway for a junk yard run - PS parts, york compressor, seats and now pig springs - make a Costco run, and visit with some friends. Erie is perfect, since our friends live in Superior - greater Boulder metro area if you ask them!!;)

Thanks for the heads up Kyia.
