I also own a 00 WJ with the Quadra Drive System. Biggest problem with wheel-n a WJ is you can't have a problem with kisses to the sheet metal. The design is such that the sheet metal is first thing to go. If you have the D44s they are not the strong D44s that are in TJs. Don't jack/lift vehicle from pumpkin. I wheeled my WJ for a while, then I purchased a TJ and made the WJ a pavement Queen.

if nothing ever breaks in stock form, then why would people upgrade?? and whats wrong with my sig?? you dont seem very helpful now do you.....:shaking:
the sheetmetal is hopefully gonna stay straight, as most of the wheeling is on unmaintained dirt roads with washouts and a few scattered rocks thrown in for good taste.

Sig lines screw up the search mode as if everyone had a D60 listed in their sigs, when you do a search on D60, it would bring up all these messages.
I **think** what he is saying, is as long as you leave everything stock, you probably won't have any issues. As long as you stick to your dirt roads, and light wheel-n, you probably won't have any issues. However, you won't have a real good wheel-n vehicle........ so then you add a lift and bigger tires to improve your wheel-n. The bigger tires puts more stress on factory axles, so you up grade axles, change gears. Then you start having TC or transmission issues because you are wheel-n harder now that you have lift, big tires, and strong axles... see where this is going?
I wheel-d my WJ harder than any stock vehicle ever should be wheel-d. Go on a few Jeep Jams and get some hands on experiece at wheel-n, then you can put together a game plan of mods.
Give us an idea what mods if any you want to do to this WJ? When you say big tires, how big?
