I'm having a problem with my 2 into 1 exhaust system. The crossover pipe that go's under the pan is hitting the front u-joint when the supension is under full compression. I also need to move the rear tailpipe so that I can fit in a rear gas tank. Can anyone recommend a muffler shop in either San Jose area or Santa Cruz area that does good work. My experience with muffler shops in the past has been less than impressive.

Thanks for the reply, Rckcrzr. Did you need to make an appointment with Craigs, or were you able to just drive in.

What size of pipe you got?

2 or 21/2?

I have two 2 1/4" into 3" right now. Thinking of haveing the pipe that goes under the oil pan squashed down to a oval, maybe 1" thick. Should still flow the same volume of exhaust, but might change cause some extra back pressure.

Thanks Rckcrzr. I got my cruiser back from Craig's Muffler Shop, today. Your right, he does do a killer job. Mike was the guy who did the work. He sure has a nice shop! Would love to have a ramp and pit setup like his. Anyway, thanks again. Maybe P.O.R. should setup a list of recommended shops for for different areas of the country, kind of like the E-bay setup where the happy or unhappy recipients of a shops work can leave the name of the shop and a rating. One thumb up to 5 thumbs up depending on the results of their work. Craig's would be a 5 thumbs up for me.

NO PROB ....THAT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA ABOUT DIFFERENT SHOPS.......THEN HAVE A POLL FOR THE SERVICE FROM EACH SHOP....
