for those who attend.....there’s only 4 big dogs events in a whole year? That’s like 8 days of wheeling total..... that’s not much. I understand the cove being exclusively for bigdogs only and it’s not an off-road park! But still I think more events is a reasonable, feasible offer. I know that in previous years I’ve talked to people from NY, NC, MD, PA, VA that come to these events. I think people have talked to John before about this but it’s worth a shot to bring it up. I know that Paragon's lease is up for there property and will probably turn into a Walmart or somethin. I think everyone would be excited about more big dogs events. With the turn out big dogs always has, people not showing up isn’t and wouldn’t be an issue if there were more events a year! 2 more events would be a good start like one at the end of MAY, and at the end of JULY. There’s nothing planned for these months.

The only problem is that the dates that you are thinking are right smack in the summer. family's are vacationing and going places. I agree two more dates esp if PAP goes away would be a good thing but I wouldnt want it to become too diluted. Half of the draw of going to BD's is getting together with everyone. Maybe some dates further into fall might be a good thing. halloween?
I know we have to talk to John this weekend and I'll say something.

thats awesome man, i appreciate the help, and good point about vacationing and stuff in the mid summer. there could be a march event that could be named the icebreaker, rename the april event and something in oct. cause it still wont be cold. i know that most people ive ever in my life talked to about wheeling say they like to do soemthing organized with groups once a month. and who better to organize and orchestrate a wheeling event @ the cove than JOHN HUNT! im speaking for many of my friends and acqaintences when i started this thread. theres becoming more of a demand on the east coast period. theres more offroad shops and custom 4x4 fabrication shops than ever and the cove could benifit from this greatly.

I agree, I would like to see more Winter events. It is hard to wait from Sept. till the END of April. That's 7 1/2 months! The cove is the best wheeling location in VA, that I have seen, lets use it more.

KGB's have been helping John organize for the past couple of years and we would love to have more events. Nothing better than waking up on Saturday to a beautiful morning next to the lake knowing you got a big day of wheeling and long night of partying.
