Can anyone recommand a good muffler shop in the san jose / los gatos area?

Try Craig's Muffler in Santa Clara. From the cat back I got single " Flo " to duals out the back of the gmc for about $250.

I ended up going to Oakdale, about 2-2.5 hour drive from San Jose, but well worth it. John at Performance Brake and Muffler did my exhaust. He did manifolds back for $220. That's including free flow cat and turbo muffler. Did real clean work too.
Call him, he'll help you with whatever you need. Real good guy.

why did you not go with the guys in Santa Clara? See I need to replace the exaust maniflod with a headder so i can be legal again since I have a crack in one of the pipes. So I can either take it out myself (yuck), and get it rewelded or buy a header to replace it with. I have been looking at the Borla ones but am open to other suggestions. Oh and the cheaper the better. I am working off of a student's limited finances.
