ok... I have a dilema. I need input on this one. Propane kit or doubler setup for this comming summer?? I don't have enough room under my jeep to use the doubler set up right now, but if i run the propane kit and toss the gas tank I can stretch the WB and make room for the kit later... What should I do first? Other ideas?

Its going in this...

put a fuel cell behind the seat then get your doubler put in. If you shop around you can find the stuff to go to propane for under $200. plus the cost of your tanks

Why waste money on a fuel cell if i'm gonna go propane anyway and that still doesn't cure my carb issues.

Use the ebay kit if you have an extra 7 inches of hood clearance on top of the carb. Use our kits if you actually want to get the project done, with instructions, warranty, proven to run right for many years.
You get what you pay for.

Well you are right about that, but some of us have to adapt and over come and build with what we can.
1st the dual fuel cap on top of the stock 2 barrel we needed 2.5 inches more to have cleared the hood
2nd. is the hood scoop we made can yo tell what it was made from

www.propaneguy.com is a hell of alot cheaper than gotpropane. I want a strait LPG kit not dual fuel. I'm not opposed to cutting up my hood if it will save me $600+!!!

Chrisbuilt,
Somewhere on this board I did a comparison between my kit and theirs. There are a LOT of parts missing in those kits. Apples to oranges. Look close and you will see people who have close to as much $$ or more going that way. It is not $450 and you are up and running. Not even close. I have to put this out there for myself as well as the un-knowledgeable consumer.
My kits include everything, all new, with instructions, tech support, and warranty. I can't tell you how many people call me looking for the missing links or can't figure out how to get it to run. One last thing, used equipment tends to use more fuel. Also with newer technology, my kits do NOT lose any power and are absolutely the most efficient. (who cares about running out of propane anyway?)

Go propane Chris, you won't regret it.
