I've done the search :flipoff2:

I got a '00 F-250 V-10 4wd for a daily driver/tow rig. I'm having a problem with the front left brake. Ford dealer says there isn't a problem with it, but what the fawk do they know. It skweaks like the pads are shot, then a distinct "pop" about half-way thru the stop, like the pads are binding up. I've replaced the pads, made sure the twin calipers are working the same, greased everything, and even checked all my suspension parts for wear. Could this be an anti-lock brake problem? Any other F-250 owners expierence this? it happens almost constintly now. And it has 61,000 miles on...so the warrenty is bye-bye.
thanks:) :) :)

I had the same exact problem on my 00' PSD f-350 4x4. Replaced all the brakes, driver front still squeeks. Found out yesterday that with only 34,000 miles, both front wheel bearings are compltely shot. I'm only running a 4" lift with 35's. I'm going to attempt to warranty these thru the dealer.

I have been annowed by a brake squeak on my 00 F250 V10 since I got it a few months back... I have been meaning to check the pads and disks - but haven't gotten around to it yet...

Found out Ford wont warranty due to oversize tires. Ford wont just sell the bearing alone, you have to buy the entire hub assembly and the bearing, $450 per side. Its a Timken bearing but Ford has exclusive rights to that particular part #, so you can only get it from Ford.:mad3: :mad3: :mad3:
