: Performance Wheels, Good Stuff

Well after seeing a recent thread bitching about Performance Wheels I started to get a little worried. I had ordered some wheel spacers about 3 weeks ago ( 5/1 ). I called first to make sure they had what I wanted then I went to the web site and orederd them. Got the confirmation that day, it said it would be 3 weeks. The lady on the phone also said 3 weeks as they were running a little behind. Well to me 3 weeks isn't that big a deal, I've waited much longer on other things.

Then I see that thread and start to get a little concerned. Got home that night and sitting on my front porch is a box from performance wheels. Cool now all I have to do is open it up and make sure they are right. Sweet!! Just what I ordered.

That was Tues. night which is almost exactly 3 weeks from the day I ordered. Now I don't have to start wheelin' w/the new rc44 4"s wider than the rear.

Just thought I would relay some positive Performance Wheel stuff.

It's great that you got your order... BUT, it's pretty bad that in this day & age, simply getting the actual parts we ordered within the time the vendor specified is cause for excitement... Too bad there's not more customer service oriented businesses out there.

I started the original thread cause they sent me the wrong spacers after waiting almost 5 weeks after being quoted 2 weeks, so yeah I was a little pissed off, but they came through, kind of. What happend was the machinist grabbed the wrong spacers when he was installing the studs. Wayne(the manager) was a good guy though, he came through for me and shipped them out yesterday via 2 day air cause I need them by friday.
Sorry to alarm anyone, but whole ordeal was pretty fucked up.

Mt package from them arrived at my place today, which took about 2 1/2 weeks to get there. I won't get to see it until I get to go home for the weekend though:(

Nutzack, glad they made it right... Their stuff is good, I ran a pair of their spacers on a narrow track 44 for a couple years with no problems. In hindsight, I shouldn't have sold them... :( Because I just ordered a another set (4) from them this week to get more width after a SOA...

Just an update... took Performance Wheel 2 weeks to get my spacers to me from date of order. Everything was correct.
I am a happy camper.

Didnt take them too long to mine out. And a note, I have a fairly heavy rig with 38's. A bit hard on it on the street one day, and bent the studs on the axle, and the studs in the space..........Not a thing wrong with the spacer. Just pounded in new studs and al was well. I like their stuff!
