quick 14b locker question

i scored a detroit locker in the bone yard of a milltary chevy truck with 456 gears. i only took the complete locker. i want to put it in my 14b which currently contains 4.10's, do i need to get a different carrier or will the one i have do it and bolt straight in? any help is appreciated

Yes, the carriers are different, but the lockers are the same. It will fit

You will have to change out the locker mechanism that is inside of the carrier from the 4.56 truck and transfer that stuff into your 4.10 open carrier

Use a piece of all thread with some flat washers to hold the detroit together before you seperate your 4.56 carrier
