I'm putting a th400. Getting an Art Carr shifter. I believe the normal shift is PRN321. I believe the reverse shift pattern is PRN123.

I noticed that the Art Carr manual breaking valve body is only available in reverse. If I decide to go with this in the future, will my normal shift pattern Art Carr shifter work just fine (only labeled wrong). In other words, is there a mechanical difference in a normal verses reverse shifter?

I know that you can get different gates for certain shifter apps.

Not certain on your setup im sure the pattern would remain the same just as you said labled wrong.

Call art carr and ask them.
