I had the same thing happen to my old truck (97 2500) Thought it was the CVs, put new ones in,and still did the same thing. Rotors were getting pretty bad, and really warped, got some news, and still did it. Only thing it could be after that was the tires were out of balance. Put my snows on, and drove straight down the road, no shaky, no vibes. Mine started to shake about 40-ish.

Is it just a wobble or is it worse when it hits a bump? I had a similar problem with my '93 1500, evey time I hit a bump the wheels would shake back and forth violently like the wheels were gonna fall off. I put new ball joints and tie rod ends and it didn't do it again. It had 190K on it though so they were pretty wore out, if you have high miles or alot of aggresive driving/offroading and hit speed bumps at a good speed then that might be what it is....

Bumps dont seem to matter but you can make it go away for a little while if you hit the brakes or gas.
Thanks

FYI 1 tons DONT HAVE BALL JOINTS!!!!!!!!!
WE HAVE KINGPINS.

if you still have the wabble, take off the top kingpin caps and add a washer or two. that will increase the pressure on the pin and take the wiggle out, if that fixes it then I would get a rebuild kit. They are around $70 a side.
