i had pretty much thought i understood the concept of this but i just ran it through my mind and ive lost it. do you flip the axle end over end? turn it around? my head is as scarmbled as an egg how does it all work!?!?

On a rockwell, you don't need to do anything special. Just mount it under your rig, attach driveshaft, add steering controls, wheel! You will probably want to rotate the center section 180 degrees to get the pinion relatively close to the center. With the inputs on both sides of the center section, you can put any axle at the front or rear of your rig and it will spin the right direction. If you want to do a rear engine, it requires some special machine work though.
