This is a stupid question...don't have a manual and when I disassembled I didn't take note of where this came from....

This is off a 1979 ford 2 piston Front 4x4 with Dana 60 caliper. Where does it go. I know it came from the caliper/brakes.

Let me know...looked for a diagram...nothing.

thats the spring that keeps tension on the caliper. It gets sandwiched between the caliper and the retaining bracket on the bottom of caliper. The little ears point away from the caliper.
I dont have a pic but i know this came up not that long ago, if you do a search you should find it pretty easily.
