in my bronco, i have the stock double cardon shaft with a 1350/1310 joint at the axle yoke.
went to the driveline shop today, they want about 400$ to build the same thing but all 1350 joints.
next shop i called wanted 500.
are these good prices for a custom driveshaft with a cv and 1350 joints?
both shops said it would be no big deal to later cut the shaft down shorter for when i run a doubler.
do i really need a heavyer duty shaft? i have never broken this one, but every 18 months or so, it needs new joints. should the 1350 built shaft last longer?

btw, truck has a built 351, 4.88's and 36's.
with in the next year, i hope to have a doubler and 39.5's or 42".
