How is the front widshield mount mounted? I dont understand how it bolts on

you mean TIGER top? there should be hole in the top of your windshield that the front bracket bolts onto. AFTER you get the front bracket bolted on, then you can slip the lip into the front bracket lip and secure it to the back.
i take it you don't have the bracket?
