i got this ole 78CJ7 the other week and ive got it runnin good now its time to slowly build it i think the first thing im gonna do is a spring over and build my own weld in cage. First question... what kind of tubing do i need and how many feet. Also how much money am i looking to spend on tube alone?

Feel free to gimme any other ideas on the build, bumpers, gears

Its the 258 I-6 with 3 spd tranny amc 20, dana 30 combo

Man thats awsome your possibilitys are endless

as you dont have the rear half of the Jeep to deal with you dont have to feel bad about making it into a compleate tube buggy

excellent platfom for a PBB inspired build.

This is a very open ended question you ask. If I did mine over...research, research, research. when you get done, research some more. Find a rig you really like and basically copy it. Most dudes are very anxoius to let you know what they did and sometimes even how. If you ask well thought out questions, meaning you searched, you will get a very positive response here.

I like 35's, with flatskids, locked and D44's for the all-around, streetable rig.

I plan on bending up some 1.75" .125 wall DOM, the length you need depends upon cage design, and price will vary by location and general "hook-ups"
