: Toyota Trails
Mustard Dog 05-16-2002, 05:30 PM Well the most recent installment of Toyota Trails just arrived:D
Very good as usuial,:beer: :beer: goes out to all the contributers;)
Hey 60SeriesGuy, did they change the quality of the paper :confused: It feels a little different.
60seriesguy 05-16-2002, 08:06 PM I dunno, Mustard Dog, I don't get to hear much about the actual layout/printing, but now that you mention it, I think I do remember American Web going to a different printing system. I'll find out for you...
I'm biased, but I *really* liked this last issue!
rustycruiser 05-16-2002, 08:56 PM Some of us are still waiting for the issue. I have 1st class mail, but mine always comes a few days late. I am convinced the mailman steams the envelope open, reads it, and then delivers. Hopefully, it will come tomorrow.

Mustard Dog 05-16-2002, 08:57 PM Well tommorow at work, I'll actuially read the articles. So far I've only looked at the great pics and felt the paper:D :D
green73 05-16-2002, 09:19 PM :mad3: I haven't recieved an Issue at all this year. I just became a TLCA member in Dec. E-mailed them and no reply. I'm gonna try and e-mail them again tonight.
BigRedFJ40 05-16-2002, 09:52 PM Hey Henry, rumor has it that was a shot of my rig in the last issue taken at Ma Belle in Mass. I am no longer a member of TLCA and I was wondering how I could get a copy of that pic? Hell, even the whole issue would be great!!!!!
Thanks, Chris:usa:

All the while in his RH drive postal Heep??:rolleyes:
Cruiser Ken 05-16-2002, 11:22 PM Still waiting on my tt, but my friend who gets it 1st class says my rig is in it twice. It's a white 40 with a grey softtop (looks the same in b/w). It's the one getting carnage at carnage canyon and spewing black smoke (my holley projection needs tuned). I welded the diff the day before, held up well.

Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhh, Cruiser porn.:D
60seriesguy 05-17-2002, 05:35 AM Chris, there is a sweet picture of your truck on the previous issue (March/April). If you call membership you can order an extra issue, or you could join up again and never have to worry about missing another issue! ;-)
As for Green73, in my experience the best thing to do is to CALL Karr Acord (membership), email is not the best forum to clear up problems like that.
green73 05-17-2002, 08:36 AM Please PM me with the # unless I can find it in the TT. Thanks for the input.
rustycruiser 05-17-2002, 10:25 AM From www.tlca.org:
Contacting the Membership Office
* E-mail: Membership@tlca.org
* Telephone: 360-855-2672
* Fax: 801-469-2740
* Postal mail:
TLCA Membership
P.O. Box 210
Windsor, CA 95492
U.S.A.
Office hours are:
* 9:00am to 3:00pm (Pacific time), Monday through Thursday.
* Except when:
* Its a holiday.
* I'm running errands.
* I'm attending a TLCA event.... in other words on a trail. :-) I'm unavailable for some other reason.
E-mail is often the best way to contact the membership office, particularly if your time zone conflicts with normal office hours. And whenever contacting the membership office, please be sure to:
* State your request (e.g., new membership, renewal, information packet).
* Include your name, TLCA Member number (if applicable) and contact information... telephone number, street address, and/or e-mail address.
* Limit your correspondence to membership related items only, as the membership office is located in a separate part of the U.S.A. from other TLCA entities.
Thank you.
ginericfj80 05-17-2002, 10:38 AM I'm not sure those are the current phone numbers. There was a change recently. If you check the March/April isssue cover or the May/June issue it should have the correct phone number. If I was at home I would double check it. I wouldn't suggest email as I've heard there have been some problems lately. If you can't get through to Karr you are welcome to email me with your problems and I will see what I can do.
Later!
Eric V.
EVP TLCA
rustycruiser 05-17-2002, 10:48 AM Eric,
The website phone number is the same as published in the March/April issue. Can't comment on May/June, still don't have it yet.

boondocker 05-18-2002, 09:46 PM I've been waiting for my copy for at least a couple of months and haven't seen any. At least good to know that TT is in circulation. Hope to see my copy soon.
