Picked this 77 up in a trade. Runs good, needs ignition switch repair and a radiator. I think this is the long model Travel Scout but I haven't taken a tape measure to it.

Has
345
727
D44's

Also have a spare transfer case and a manual tranny. Not sure which tranny yet.

Also have the rear seat and tailgate.

that tranny is out of a diesel scout. The bell housing won't work for you.

It's got a 727 in it now that is working good. I wondered about that tranny, didn't think it looked like it would work.

To start with I just want to get it driving without hotwiring it. Just needs an ignition switch, but possibly a new column. The PO did a job trying to take it apart without knowing how. Also need to find a radiator. It sounds really good, and feels strong up and down the block. Dual flowmaster 40's with dumps before the rear axle. There are a few other odds and ends to make it a driver.

I'd love to do an axle swap and build it for some abuse, but my budget is pretty small right now so unless I stumble into a 60 front I'll stick with 44's and take it easy. I'm thinking of a small lift and 33's and just have some fun with it. It has a shackle lift on it now, probably just a couple inches. I could do a spring over for just about free.
