I ordered an oil filter relocation kit (Mr Gasket) with the dual oil filter option for my 466 in my truck. I will hand prime the system of course before I start it up, but do you think it will affect my pressure having to travel through 5 feet of hose and 2 filters? Or will it be the same? Any experenced ppl out there?

you can still show good pressure with only one quart in that system. Just make sure that you fill it with the required amount of oil. You're obviously going to need more than 5 quarts now.

Screw the other guy and thank you for posting. I cannot keep my oilfilter where it is cause it hits the cross member and rubbes a hole in the filter. And on top of that I would like the dual filters. I will give it shot. Thanks for thouse of you who helped instaed of wasting time bickering like childeren.

I have a single remote filter on my 83 F250 with a 460 and have seen no change in oil pressure. Just my $.02.

thats what I wanted to hear.. I have the dual kit and will be running 1/2 inch aluminum tubing instead of the rubber hose. I think it will look neat. Thanks for the replies.

once all the air is out of the system you should have to change in pressure all your doing is adding more line and fluid. just like adding an extra capacity oil filter.
