They look like a normal one but a lot shorter and they have center in and center out instead of the off set inlet.. Any one ever listen to a set?

My buddy has them on a built 350 chebby. That truck will literally set off car alarms.

I wanted to put some on my 150. But I think straight pipes are louder

I put a set on my truck, they are very loud, I took them off because I was tired of getting pulled over by the cops all the time. they sound good though. some other guys mentioned straight pipes but in my opinion mufflers always sound better.

I love my 40 series but want them to be louder. I will try them. Fuck the cops here if I have mufflers and pipeing they cant do anything but give me a warning. lol

by all means run 'em you will love em if you like loud exhaust, just be sure you peel the 'race only' stickers off incase a cop looks underneath.

Can you please share your details here on how you did all that? I am really curious. I do have a complete 40 series exhaust system under my truck now that I wont have a use for.

they soud ok, and certainly are loud, but personaly, I'd rather have a muffler that flows..

You want a muffler that flows??????? The FM race series flow a 1000 HP a piece. That is more than enough for most guys.

...Flow was rated in CFM not in HP the last time I knew.

Dont be a little bitch and run straight pipes. I did.

all i did was cut the muffler were the second chamber is and capped the end off. if they are 9old you can kind of see where each chamber is. mustang guys do them alot u can probly find pics. just run some spintechs or something, they flow .

I cannot see where the chambers are so cutting would be a nitemare and ide prolly ruin it..lol and at summit racing they said these will flow 1000 HP a piece. Not that I need that but I just want louder pipes. I love the flowmaster tone but do have exhaust cut outs for the mud and drag strip.

once I get the front part of my exhaust bend (read nightmare) I'm just going to throw a cheap ass cat and muffler on the end of the pipes for inspection and then remove it for the rest of the time.:smokin:
