Where to buy dry cut chop saw?

I am looking at the 14 inch milwaukee dry cut saw from alcal place for $498.

Is there better dry cut saw for near the same price and where is the cheapest place to by these.

Trick-tools is selling one in the tools section, it is an evolution saw, can't remember the price.

I have heard some mixed reviews on the evolution saw.I think its made in china.Is the milwaukee made in the usa?

I remember a couple years ago few folks were buying re-con Dewalt units from Harbor Freight.


Do a search for 'dewalt chop saw' and you could probably dig up the old threads.

IIRC it was atleast 1/2 the price. I want one myself, just haven't justified the $$$ yet.
