Did a lot of research. Saw all the products at SEMA. Have used U-Coat It before.

Reasons I chose Racedeck for this shop:
1) Leased space & I can take it with me.
2) Easier on the feet & better insulating than floor epoxy on the existing cement.
3) Appearance for web shoots, etc.
4) Got matching set for show displays (street rods).

Total cost was about $2700.

Total install time (not counting moving all the heavy ass shop stuff around) was about 4 hours. My 10-year old did most of the actual install.

Very pleased.

More pics...

Changed the floorplan a hair as I went. Actually used about 375 black & 360 alloy tiles.

Does it burn or melt? That would be my major concern.

Yes. It does. It's cool with grinding & hot flying stuff, but I wouldn't weld upside down on it. That's why we left the fab section of the shop alone. Will have to drop the fire blanket over it occasionally.

Two negative things...

One: That stuff is cool but it's noisy to walk on and can get annoying after a while.

Two: Fiat sucks!!! - as in the Case skid steer loader :flipoff2:
