: Power steering issues

The power-steering pump on my 1977 F-250 Highboy is labouring just sitting idling, the pressure line going to the controll valve vibrates really bad. It didn't start doing that until winter. I only have 33x12.5x16.5 Dunlop Mud rovers and the truck can't turn them when I am sitting still and I got power assist. So I am wondering if the relief valve in the pump is stuck, or should I replace the pump, or is it something more seriuos? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Probably a bad pump.

Junk the pump, go with this, assuming you have a 351M or 400.
