I am wanting to get the in-cab cage that all-pro sells listed here-

I am wondering if anyone on here has one in a regular cab tacoma with pics so I can see what kind of room is used up by it in the cab, particularly head room seeing as i'm 6'2". Thanks so much guys!

I have one currently in my 85 reg cab. I am 6'1 and have plenty of head room. Its all in how it is installed. You can make it tight to the roof & dash, or not. When I worked at allpro they put one in a reg cab tacoma. It came out good. IIRC custom floor plates had to be fabbed. The ones that came in the kit were too small.

Hey thanks so much for the info. I figured they give enough pipe where it leaves room for some manipulation i.e. pushing it up tight into the roof and dash etc. so that is good news. Making new floor plates is no biggie, I am wanting to go through the floor and tie it into the frame anyways.

The ones that came in the kit were too small.Yeah, I had to fab plates, but just for the rear. I've got one in my 85, built it so tight I bent the roof putting it back in. 6'4" in a standard cab.:flipoff2:

Marlin has a in-cab-cage kit that will fit the standard cab and extended cab tacomas

Pad that cage no matter what. What is a cheap way to do this? I suppose it depends on the size of the tubing.
