What are we discussing? They built a really nice cage for a race car.

Things like dry ice in welding applications? Not familiar with that although the basic "why" is fairly obvious.

It looks like it somehow may aid in the removal of the sealant on that floor pan. :confused:
I didn't see any further explanation, and would also like to know how/when/why it's used in a welding application.

Don't know about the welding of the cage, but I've seen it used to shrink sheet metal.

The dry ice is used to harden up the sound deadening-spray-on-junk so it can be chipped and ground away.

Well, I'm not as bright as I think I am:laughing: I thought it was to control/affect the haz. UP here we could just leave the car outside for ten minutes and the sealant would run inside to get warm.
