wayne, try K-Surplus in National City. They have an amazing collection of hard to find stuff. I got loads of tooling for my 50 year old Logan from them.

Try http://www.smalltools.com .
They have alot of new and used tooling. Their website sucks but the guys on the phone are really helpful.

We made one out of 3" alu plate. The rollers were out of a old Lodge & Shipley steady rest. Damn thing worked great. Would go from 14" to 6" where the ones for our Leblonds started. Before this even for center drilling large bar stock, we had to put it on a bore mill. There are a lot of 688 class boats crusing around underwater with parts off that rest.:smokin:

No pics I was busy building an axle. I will take some when I can but I have to get the rig ready for Weroc opener. Time is short and the list is long, I will try to remember.
