Any reason why a SII rear axle shaft couldn't be redrilled for a 5x5 bolt pattern??? Extreme strenth is not really an issue.

Seems like it would be fine to me...What front axle are you going to use though?

The IFS:barf: D30 that is already in my Eagle. I know, not an IH project, but Camo would stick a D60 up my @ss if I asked on the Heep board!!!!!

I need to go away from the 7 3/4's that is in there, and a SII D-44 seems to be the most logical choice. (Read most gear selections.)

I need to get away from the 7 cause I don't want to blow stuff up as i upgrade the motor/ tranny/T-case.

I know someone who has a set of ScoutII d44's F/R for REALLY cheap
